Oli Goodall is a UK-based vocal coach and choral director specialising in contemporary a cappella singing styles.
Hi, I’m Oli! My whole life revolves around singing and close harmony. From teaching voice lessons and making learning tracks (and even occasionally arranging) to leading choirs and coaching groups across the country, I’ve got my fingers in a lot of pies!
I specialise in contemporary styles like Musical Theatre, Jazz, Contemporary A Cappella, and Pop, though I’m truly a barbershopper at heart. I believe singing connects people in powerful ways, and I’m passionate about helping singers grow their technique and artistry to enable them to express freely.
I direct Capital Chorus, One Voice Watford Community Choir, and Welwyn Harmony Chorus building fun, supportive spaces where community thrives. I also sing lead with Hot Ticket Quartet, the 2023 UK Mixed Quartet Champions and BHS International competitors.
I hold an MRes in Speech, Language and Cognition from UCL and accreditation as a Vocal Health First Aider. I’ve also taught on faculties for the British Association of Barbershop Singers’ Harmony College.
I take an evidence-based, biopsychosocial approach to vocal coaching, looking to help people find strategies that are healthy, repeatable, and sustainable.
